Lindsay A. Taylor ’01

Women’s Track & Field

Winning 10 Heptagonal titles and helping Brown to five Heptagonal Championships, Taylor was the second-ranked pentathlete and heptathlete in intercollegiate athletics. She was named to the All-Ivy team both indoor and outdoor during each of her four collegiate seasons.

Zachary D. Burns ’99

Football

Burns set new records for a Brown tight end in catches and receiving yards and was named first team All-American by the Associated Press, First Team All-Ivy and to the First Team ESPN/USA All-American squad.

Darren G. Eales ’95

Men’s Soccer

Named first team All-Ivy each season and twice as Academic All-Ivy, Eales became the first Brown men’s soccer player to be named Ivy League Player of the Year and was the GTE/CoSIDA Academic All-American of the Year.

Michelle Pagliaro Haywood ’94

Women’s Basketball

Pagliaro’s time at Brown helped to lead the Bears to three consecutive Ivy League Championships and the team’s first NCAA Tournament berth. Currently, she ranks top 10 all-time at Brown in several categories.

Sharon Cleary Eastman ’91

Women’s Swimming & Diving

As one of the most accomplished divers to come through Brown, Cleary Eastman held all four Brown diving records and was an NCAA qualifier. She currently holds the school record in both the 1-meter and 3-meter events.

John G. McMahon ’91

Men’s Lacrosse

McMahon is one of the best midfielders to ever play for Brown, helping to lead the Bears to their only undefeated season (13-0, 6-0) in Brown Lacrosse history. He was a two time Honorable Mention All-American and selected First Team All-American his final year.

Bruce D. Yeutter ’57 P’83 ’94

Paul L. Maddock ’33 Award

A long time supporter of the sport and university, Yeutter has selflessly devoted much of his life to the Bear’s soccer program. He helped to create the Brown Soccer Association in 1962, is known as the “alumni face” of men’s soccer.

Women’s Swimming & Diving Team 1984-1985

The 1984-1985 team epitomized the dominance of the Swimming and Diving program at Brown emerging as a force in the Ivy and Eastern Leagues. The team captured Brown’s first Eastern Championship in 1985.
